So the only dimension of the technical definition that really applies at Bushveld Bivouac is the temporary nature of your stay. And even in that regard, we’ve had loads of guests who were extremely reluctant to leave!

"We stayed at Bushveld for 3 nights of a 2 week trip in SA. It was definitely our favourite place to stay! The accommodation is amazing, well equipped and feels so private. We loved being able to walk around the park seeing all the different animals, walking amongst Giraffes! A unique escape with easy access to the Kruger National Park
Located halfway between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa, the farm lies just 40 minutes from the world famous Kruger Park’s Phalaborwa gate to the north, a bit over an hour’s drive from Orpen Gate to the south; and close to numerous other extraordinary destinations. While you’re on our farm, however, it’s all about walking, mountain biking, or simply soaking up the incredible views from each site’s decks, surrounded by pristine bush and incredible birdlife — with the odd curious antelope venturing past.
